Welcome to WhereToFun SG ("we", "us", or "our"), accessible at wheretofun.sg (the "Site").

By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to all of these Terms, you must stop using the Site immediately.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. If you access the Site from outside Singapore, you are responsible for compliance with local laws.

You must be at least 18 years old to use this Site. By using the Site, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. We do not knowingly collect personal data from persons under 18 — see our Privacy Policy for details.

3. Permitted Use

You may use the Site for personal, non-commercial purposes only. You agree not to:

• Copy, reproduce, or redistribute Site content without our written permission
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to harvest content from the Site
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Site or its infrastructure
• Use the Site in any way that is unlawful, harmful, abusive, or fraudulent

• Interfere with or disrupt the Site's servers, networks, or performance
• Post spam, unsolicited advertising, or malicious content

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for any user who violates these Terms.

4. User-Generated Content

The Site allows users to post comments and community content ("UGC"). By submitting UGC, you:

• Confirm the content is your own and does not infringe any third-party rights
• Grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to display, reproduce, and distribute your content on the Site
• Agree that your content does not contain defamatory, illegal, or hateful material
• Acknowledge we may remove any content at our sole discretion without prior notice

Some links on this Site — including "Book Now" buttons — are affiliate links to Viator. We may earn a commission if you complete a purchase through these links, at no additional cost to you.

When you click an affiliate link and leave the Site, you are subject to the terms and privacy policies of the third-party platform. We are not responsible for:

• The content, policies, or practices of any third-party website
• Any transactions, disputes, or losses arising from third-party platforms
• Booking errors, cancellations, or refund policies of third-party providers
• Pricing discrepancies between what is shown on this Site and what the booking platform charges

Affiliate relationships do not influence which events we feature or the order in which they appear.

7. Third-Party Content & Images

Event images displayed on this Site may be sourced from the Ticketmaster API, Viator API, Unsplash API (under free commercial licence), or fetched as publicly accessible OpenGraph preview images from URLs returned by our licensed API providers. These images remain the property of their respective owners.

If you are the rights holder of any image displayed on this Site and believe it is being used without authorisation, please contact us at hello@wheretofun.sg with full details and we will remove it promptly.

8. Event Organiser Takedown & Correction Requests

If you are an event organiser, promoter, or rights holder and you believe that a listing on this Site contains inaccurate information, infringes your intellectual property rights, or should be removed for any reason, please contact us at hello@wheretofun.sg with the following details:

• Your name and contact information
• The name and URL of the listing in question
• A description of the inaccuracy or the basis for your removal request

We will review and action valid requests within 7 business days. Complying with a takedown or correction request does not constitute an admission of wrongdoing or liability on our part.

As an event aggregator that sources listings from licensed third-party APIs, we are not the origin of the underlying data. Where a correction is requested, we will either update the listing or remove it from the Site. We cannot guarantee that data sourced from third-party APIs will not reappear in future automated updates; in such cases, please notify us again and we will exclude the listing on an ongoing basis.

9. Intellectual Property

All original content on this Site — including the WhereToFun SG name, logo, design, text, and software — is the property of WhereToFun SG or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Third-party event data and images remain the property of their respective owners and are used in accordance with the terms of the API services through which they were obtained.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site and all content — including event listings sourced from third-party APIs — are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that: (a) the Site will be uninterrupted or error-free; (b) any event listing is accurate, complete, or current; (c) any event will take place as described. You access and use the Site entirely at your own risk.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Singapore law, WhereToFun SG and its owners, operators, and contributors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to:

• Your use of or inability to use the Site
• Any event attended, missed, or booked based on information from the Site
• Inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated event data received from third-party API sources
• Unauthorised access to or alteration of your data
• Any content posted by other users
• Any transactions, disputes, cancellations, or refunds involving third-party platforms (Viator, Ticketmaster)
• Any event cancellation, postponement, or change by an event organiser

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed SGD 100.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless WhereToFun SG and its team from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your violation of these Terms
• Your use of the Site
• Any content you submit to the Site
• Your violation of any third-party rights

13. Privacy

Your use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review it to understand our data practices.

14. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Site at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason at our sole discretion.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Site after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.

16. No Retroactive Liability

These Terms, including all disclaimers, limitations of liability, and the organiser takedown process set out herein, are effective from the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. WhereToFun SG accepts no liability for any claims, disputes, or events — including any alleged inaccuracies in event listings, intellectual property concerns, or losses suffered by any party — that arose prior to that date.

If you have a concern relating to a period before these Terms took effect, we encourage you to contact us at hello@wheretofun.sg and we will consider it in good faith, but we make no representation that any pre-existing obligation or liability exists.

17. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Site shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
